GOOD TO GREAT

Why Some Companies Make the Leap, and Others Don’t.

WHAT WE THINK ABOUT IT

“A research team led by Jim Collins, author of “Built to Last”, researches over five years companies that achieved great business results and sustained them over 15 years, and compared them with a set of comparison companies that failed to make the leap and find out what was different. The research team identifies key concepts that are clear and easy to interpret and apply on a personal individual level. Jim Collins is great at “cutting the crap” and dispelling wrongly held beliefs to offer a clear understanding of how to be personally successful and how to make your business successful for the long-term. My favorite part was reading the chapter on Level 5 Leadership. If anything, read this chapter for a fascinating and thought-provoking look at what type of leaders make their companies great, and in turn, take their lives and the lives of those around them from good to great.
